Hanausagi is a pressed flower artist who is from Mie, Japan. “Hanausagi” simply means flower rabbit in Japanese.
I use only real flowers, leaves, trees, fruits and vegetables in my original pressed flower art.
I create my delicate pressed flower art without former art training. But I have a unique technique to design your picture a beautiful creation of art.
Each art will ever be exactly the same as all my art is one of a kind.
Rose pedals are used for human skin, and rose leaves are used for human hairs.
For animal hairs, I mainly use Japanese pampas grass.
For eyes, I use leaves of paederia foetida. I use pressed hydrangea, barberton daisy and marguerite daisy to create eye lights.
I also use real dried and processed lemon, strawberry and kiwi fruit for my pressed flower art, and to make accessories as well.
